Multifunctional Coatings are based on different Technologies
Providing Antisoiling Coating Technological solutions is vital to maintaining safety and efficiency in most PV power projects we undertake at Rads Global. Whether a project is in the Desert, City, Cloudy or Clean conditions the solution for soiling, abrasions, corrosion, cleaning, degradation, use of water for cleaning, and reflection of sunlight is important in order to ensure that all projects completed with our Coatings. Solutions are more efficient (8% to 15%), safe, stable, and profitable.
Multifunctional Nanocoatings are applied for different areas of different industries. The major industrial user sectors are Solar Glass (PV, CSP, Mirrors, BIPV), Horticulture Glass, Automotive, Electronics, and construction. You have to identify which functionalities you want to achieve by the application of coatings. Once you identify functionalities then you can visit the application area of coating for detailed understanding and selection.
Antisoiling Coating (AS)
The surface of the glass or any PV module surface remains open under the open sky in user conditions. This invites dust and soiling particles (2.0PM to 15 PM) on the surface. The antisoiling coating creates a shield on the surface of glass or the substrate with a smooth nano-structure and it does not let the dust or dust particles stick or adhere to the surface.
Antireflective Coating (ARC)
The glass received light on its surface which partly gets reflected and the remaining get transmitted or absorbed. The nanostructured coating reduces the reflection of the light from the surface. The ARC coatings increase light transmission by 5 to 6% in the glass. This means more light available for power production, better visibility in the display, and windscreen glass.
Anti-corrosive Coating (AC)
Solar Glass or other types of glass is prone to corrosion due to moisture or water, high PH liquids, Acids, oxides of Ca, Mg, Na, and cement. A nanoscale thickness layer on the glass surface provides highly durable and long-term protection. This keeps (solar or any other) glass surface guarded against all the corrosive forces. This coating also provides protection among other surfaces such as Aluminum, Copper, Ceramic, Marble, and Granite.
Anti-abrasive Coating (AAC)
The coating form a very hard uniform nanostructure that can tolerate frictional abrasive forces exerted on the surface. The coating protects the surface for 25 years against aggressive interaction of users' conditions with the product.
Antiglare Coating (AGC)
The glass surface creates glare due to light and surrounding buildings. This glare proven dangerous for Pilots during take-off and landing of the Aeroplanes. The Antiglare coating controls the glare and pilots can not see any glaring close to the airports.
Self Cleaning Coating
The coating sets a process of cleaning in operational conditions the glass or PV modules. The coating keeps cleans to the coated surfaces. The self-cleaning coating takes control of cleaning tasks by smart way of operation.
Anti PID (Potentially Induced Degradation) (APC)
The Sodium (Na) ions migrate from glass to cells through different pathways. This migration process creates Potential. This potential induces the degradation of cells. The sodium is responsible for the degradation of the modules. Anti PID coating creates a firewall or security wall against the movement of sodium. The nano-structured wall stops the creation of Potential.
Anti Dripping Coating (ADC)
The crop production in the greenhouse leads to lots of condensation which creates dripping rain. The plants receive water drops from the roof of the greenhouse. The AD coating stops the dripping by controlling the condensation process.
The surface of the glass turned to the water lover due to HP coating. A small quantity of water spreads over the surface by creating a thin layer. This coating reduces to a 10-degree water contact angle with the surface.
Hydrophobic Coating (HC)
The surface of the glass turned to water repel due to HC coating. The water turned to water droplets on the surface.
Oleophobic Coating (OC)
The coating creates a nanostructure that does not allow oils and fats to stick or adhere to the surface. The surface repels the oily substance and keeps the surface free from greasiness.
