Solar Glass Coating

Solar Glass is the most critical component of the PV modules, CSP, and Mirrors. The Solar Glass performs multiple functions for PV modules such as light transmission, protection of surface of solar cells, and safety of PV modules. Low Iron Glass is used due to its higher light transmittance and lower presence of oxides for Ferrous. The coating has become a standards component of solar glass in the PV industry for reducing the reflection of the light by the surface of the solar glass. There are varieties of glass coatings that are based on mainly three types of technologies. 

Roller Coated Coatings: These are originated in the painting industry. They are based on the creation of physical links between the substrate (Glass) and coating material at nanoscale thickness. They have an open mouth structure on the surface to trap the light and increase the light transmission. They have critical issues in field conditions due to the sneaking of water and another chemical in the structure of coating and in between coating and glass surface. The roller-coated ARCs trap more soil on the glass surface. These surfaces lead to negative effects in light transmission due to soiling and damages to the coatings. Even such ARCs are peeled off in real field conditions.

Plasma Coating: These coatings are originated in the electronics industry wherein the vapourised form of chemical material is deposited on the glass surface in a plasma state. This high-temperature plasma state creates a chemical link between the surface of the substrate (Glass) and the coating material. The chemical links do not let the peeling off the coating layer like in Roller coating. 
Some of the coatings offered by us are plasma process-based nanotechnologies. These are patented technologies used for imparting functionalities such as antisoiling, antireflective, anticorrosive, anti-abrasive, and self-cleaning.

Coating Mirror (CSP)

CSP/Mirrors: The solar glass for the heated application have issues of soiling, scaling, cleaning, and performance. The plasma technology helps in keeping the surface of glass or glass tubes, glass collectors,  and mirrors clean. The more available spectrum of light leads to a jump in the performance of the projects and better returns on investment.
